The chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd on Friday led the special assistants on polling units affairs recently appointed by Gov Nyesom Wike across the local government area to their inauguration at Adokiye Amiesimaka stadium in Ikwerre LGA, Rivers State.
The special assistants to the Rivers State governor on polling units affairs across Emohua LGA were inaugurated alongside their counterparts across the Rivers-East senatorial district, which also comprises Omuma, Etche, Ikwerre, Obio-Akpor, PortHarcourt, Okrika and Ogu-Bolo LGAs.
Gov Nyesom Wike who performed the inauguration also announced the review of the number of the polling units’ special assistants from 100,000 persons to 200,000 persons across the state.
