One million and one hundred thousand sponsored smear campaigns against Dr Chidi Lloyd cannot stop the continuity of the development of Emohua LGA.
Sponsored radio appearances and social media commentaries aimed at distracting the council chairman in his desire to sustain the infrastructure revolution witnessed across the LGA under his watch is better described as the last kick of a dying horse.
Sponsoring misguided youths to maliciously attack the incumbent council chairman with a view to giving him a bad name before the expiration of his first term in June 2024, is an action in futility.
It is a miscalculated attempt and waste of resources on the part of the sponsors and a nuisance at its peak on the part of the contracted miscreants because a greater percentage of the people acknowledge and appreciate the developmental strides of the council chairman, especially in the area of infrastructure development and security, which have always been the major challenges in Emohua LGA.
The people of Emohua LGA are much wiser at this point, hence we cannot allow individuals who are pursuing personal vendetta to hide under the cover of a non-existing ‘concerned Emolga youths’; an association of internally displaced politicians (IDPs) in the area, to frustrate our progress. It’s dead on arrival.
The truly concerned youths of Emohua LGA are in support of the progress of the LGA.
The truly concerned youths of Emohua LGA are much more concerned about the new narrative in Emohua LGA.
Every truly concerned youth of Emohua LGA should be able to compare and contrast what the LGA was before the emergence of Dr Chidi Lloyd in 2021 and what it has become two years after.
No truly concerned Emohua youth who wants the best for the Emohua LGA would accept to be used to cast aspersions on a local government chairman under whose administration the LGA has witnessed an unprecedented and sustained infrastructure revolution.
Emohua LGA is on a NEW LEVEL under the watch of Sir. Chidi Lloyd, JP, BL, PhD, DSSRS, MCIArb (UK), and will never go backwards, with God on our side. It’s forward ever.
It is glaring even to the council chairman’s traducers and sponsored attack dogs that the LGA under their nightmare is making unprecedented progress to their own wild imagination and that’s much more important to the greater percentage of the population of Emohua LGA both home and abroad.
The presence of the government at the third tier has never been felt across communities in Emohua LGA like we’re witnessing today under Chidi Lloyd. That’s what matters to the people.
You may dislike the council chairman, which is normal and that’s personal but you can’t take away the fact that he has distinguished himself in service delivery, taking Emohua LGA from grass to grace.
We (Emohua LGA) have maintained our rightful place in news headlines for good reasons in the past two years because we currently have a chairman who isn’t in search of the required political will for policy formulation and implementation.
We are currently among the A-class LGAs in Rivers State and Nigeria at large, in terms of effective leadership and implementation of people-oriented projects. As for quality project delivery, you can leave that to Dr Lloyd; a man of class and distinction. There’s no contest at the moment.
Emolgans both at home and abroad are at this point proud to identify with their LGA because of the change of narrative occasioned by the deliberate steps taken by the incumbent council chairman and his team to restore the lost glory of the respected LGA.
Yesterday, Emohua LGA was known for everything negative, including insecurity and an ineffective local government administration and these negative tendencies had over the years hindered development in the area but today the story is entirely different. The eyes can see, the ears can hear and the mouth can speak what God is doing through Dr. Chidi Lloyd.
Communities are now agitating for inclusivity in infrastructure project distribution because we now have a local government administration that is moving from ward to ward executing people-oriented projects previously believed to be way beyond the capacity of a local government.
Before the emergence of Dr. Chidi Lloyd our people only looked up to successive administrations at the state and federal levels for developmental projects such as community roads but the case is now different in two years.
Emohua local government under the leadership of Dr. Chidi Lloyd now complement the efforts of Rivers State government in road construction across communities in the LGA. It’s indeed a new dawn.
Emohua LGA is now a reference point in infrastructure development in the comity of LGAs in Nigeria, 32 years after the creation of the LGA because a man with a clear vision of where he wants the LGA to be in the next few years is currently on the saddle building for the future.
Knowing where we’re coming from and how far we’ve come in repositioning our dear LGA, we cannot afford to move backwards; it is forward ever and backwards never. No distractions.
Emohua local government area will continue to grow from glory to glory, to the benefit of all.
For the gift of Dr. Chidi Lloyd at a time when he was all that we needed to be where we are today, we shall forever be grateful to God almighty.
To our leaders who were instrumental to his emergence, stakeholders and patriotic sons and daughters of Emohua LGA who are in support of the new narrative of progress in the LGA; it wouldn’t have been possible without you and it cannot be sustained without your continued support, hence posterity won’t fail to judge you aright.
Together, we can sustain the progress made within these past two years, consolidate on our gains and propel our future to the envy of many but in fulfilment of the dreams and aspirations of our founding fathers, and most importantly to the glory of God and benefit of the generality of the people of Emohua LGA.
Radio and social media commentaries never played any role in the emergence of any public office holder, not even when such commentaries are ill-intentioned.
Recall that these same characters commissioned to launch a malicious attack on Dr Chidi Lloyd because of fear of a possible continuity and consolidation in Emohua local government administration in the next LGA election, even when the council chairman never declared interest, also toured radio stations abusing Fmr Gov Nyesom Wike throughout his 8 years in office as Governor of Rivers State.
Even while Nyesom Wike was widely adjudged and celebrated as the best Governor in his time, these IDPs kept abusing him, till his last day in office.
Did their abuses change the reality?
Recall also that these same characters were on radio, TV and different social media platforms casting aspersions on Gov Siminalayi Fubara in the build-up to the 2023 governorship election, with unprintable names on the continuity and consolidation Governor of Rivers State.
Even after Gov Sim Fubara had been sworn in as the duly elected Governor, they continued to castigate him with any opportunity available to them.
Is Rivers State not making progress under #TheWorkingSim?
For those who care to listen, these sponsored campaigns of calumny are of no effect on whether or not Dr Chidi Lloyd will be returning for another term because those responsible for such decisions are not influenced by the activities of these miscreants, nor are they unaware of the intentions of their sponsors.
Verily, these are very archaic strategies deployed by cowards seeking the office of Emohua local government chairman to test the waters.
Unfortunately, it is the wrong water that is being tested; they are actually testing the water occupied by a whale… two things are involved here; they either drown or get swallowed, in the interest of the development of Emohua LGA.
Personal vendetta cannot override the restoration and development of Emohua LGA.
