— Prays For A Successful Transition In Rivers State, Nigeria
The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Dr Chidi Lloyd has felicitated with Christians in the area and across the world on the occasion of this year’s Easter Celebration, urging all Christians to learn and practice the teachings and character of Jesus Christ especially as it concerns making difficult sacrifices for the overall development of the society.
The council chairman in his Easter Message to the people of Emohua Local Government Area through his Chief Press Secretary, Bright Jossy-Elendu urged the people of the area to take advantage of the Easter Celebration to reflect deeply on what is needed to rewrite the story of Emohua Local Government Area with positive narrative, with a view to attracting rapid development to the area.
According to the Council Chairman. ” Peace and security is an automatic invitation to development and no meaningful development can occur in an atmosphere devoid of peace and security”.
He, therefore, called for the support and prayers of Christians across Emohua LGA to sustain the prevalent peace and security in the area, in order to consolidate the infrastructure revolution witnessed across the area under his administration.
The Emohua Council Boss in the Message also urged Christians to use the Eastertide to seek the face of God for a successful transition in Rivers State in particular and Nigeria at large following the conclusion of the 2023 general elections.
