Pursuant to the Nationwide registration of unemployed Nigerians by the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), the chairman of Emohua local government area, Hon Chidi Lloyd, DSSRS, has approved a front desk under the office of the Executive Assistant on Documentation and Strategy in the local government council headquarters, to facilitate the registration of unemployed persons in the local government area.
The registration exercise is aimed at providing employment opportunities for unemployed persons through training, vocational skill development (VSD), special public works (SPW), and rural employment promotion (REP).
Unemployed persons across Emohua local government area are enjoined to visit the front desk at the local government council headquarters in Emohua, to process their registration with the National Directorate of Employment from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays weekly.
