Emohua local government chairman, Dr. Chidi Lloyd on Tuesday joined other leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State to receive new returnees back to the ruling party in the state, at a reception ceremony organized by the Amb. Desmond Akawor led Rivers PDP executive committee.
The returnees were majorly former APC stalwarts from Obio-Akpor and Port Harcourt City local government areas, with few others from Etche and Emohua local government areas, all in the Rivers-East senatorial district of the state.
The Governor of Rivers State, H.E Nyesom Ezenwo Wike was ably represented at the ceremony by the deputy governor, Dr. Mrs. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, with prominent political leaders from across the state also in attendance.
