Pursuant to the ban on the activities of youth organizations and community development committees (CDC) across Rivers State by the State Government, the chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Chidi Lloyd, DSSRS has approved the appointment of a new executive committee to oversee the affairs of Rumuji Youth Association (R.Y.A) in Rumuji community, Emohua LGA.
They are:
1. Dr. Okogbule Vincent Fredrick — Chairman
2. Engr. Chinumezi Ogwueli — Vice Chairman
3. Lambert Akwujuru — General Secretary
4. Prince Ugochukwu Ihunwo — Treasurer
5. Michael Woji — Financial Secretary
6. Barr. Iheanachor Minikwu — Legal Adviser
7. Bright Ekweme — Public Relation Officer
8. Marshal Ohaka — Organizing Secretary
9. Chikwunoye Uzuma — Assistant Secretary
10. Heros Okala — Auditor
Their appointment is with immediate effect.
The council chairman charged the newly appointed executives of Rumuji Youth Association to work in synergy with other relevant stakeholders and organs of the community to promote peace and unity in Rumuji community in particular and Emohua local government area at large, for the overall development of the area.
