Emohua Local Government Council has released the schedule of activities for the one year anniversary celebration of the administration of Dr. Chidi Lloyd .
The nine days event which is expected to attract dignitaries from all walks of life to Emohua LGA will feature account of stewardship, campaign against drug abuse and other social vices, with the inauguration of infrastructural projects initiated and completed by the administration of Dr. Chidi Lloyd as the climax of the anniversary celebration.
First on the schedule of the activities marking the one year anniversary is the ‘Account of Stewardship’ to the good people of Emohua LGA by the council chairman, Dr. Chidi Lloyd, slated to hold at the council secretariat on Friday, 8th July, 2022,at 10:00am
On Saturday 9th July 2022 , the Emohua Local Government Council will be holding a one-day advocacy on the ills of Drug Abuse and other social vices, in conjunction with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Elele-Alimini community at 10:00am.
The week long harvest of infrastructural projects initiated and completed by the administration of Dr. Chidi Lloyd within one year is scheduled to begin with the commissioning of Emohua Local Government Council Chapel / Marriage Registry by the Rector of the Catholic Institute, Ikot Ekpene, Monsignor, Emmanuel Maru, with an interdenominational service billed to hold at the council secretariat at 10:00am on Monday, 11th July 2022,
The commissioning of the 20,000 litres Braithwaite Water Project is slated to hold on the day 4 of the anniversary celebration, Tuesday 12th July 2022, at the council secretariat in Emohua, with the chairman of Emolga PDP caucus, Chief Paul Wokhe Wonodi, as guest of honour, at 10:00am prompt.
The day 5, Wednesday, 13th July, 2022, will feature the inauguration of the new Emohua Local Government security architecture christened; Emohua Local Government Vigilante Services ( EMOVIS) and the commissioning of the vigilante services secretariat building by the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, CP Friday Eboka at 10:00am.
The day 6, Thursday 14th July 2022 is expected to be a home coming for the Chief of Staff Rivers State Government House, Chief Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke as he commissions the Ultramodern Canteen in the council secretariatat 10:00am
The Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Ipalibo Harry Banigo will be the special guest of honour to commission the Emohua Local Government Primary Healthcare Center (Cottage Hospital) on Friday, 15th July 2022, at 10:00am.
It is going to be a carnivallike ceremony on the day 8, Saturday 16th July, 2022 as the people of Emohua LGA roll out their drums to welcome the Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and his entourage to Emohua LGA, for the commissioning of the 1 Kilometer Eveku road with 2 Kilometer drainage initiated and completed by the administration of Dr. Chidi Lloyd in Eveku community, Odegu, at 10:00am.
The nine days anniversary celebration will be winding down on Sunday, 17th July, 2022 with a special thanksgiving service at St. John’s Anglican Church, Eveku-Odegu at 10:00am.
Patriotic leaders, stakeholders, citizens and residents of Emohua Local Government Area are invited to turn out en masse to give the Governor of Rivers State and other guests a rousing welcome during the anniversary celebration.
