–Approves The Completion Of The Long Abandoned Office Complex In Emohua Council Secretariat
The chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd says the local government primary healthcare centre being constructed by his administration will be commissioned and put to use before the end of February 2022.
The council chairman disclosed this while inspecting some of the projects being executed by his administration within the local government council headquarters on Tuesday.
Dr. Lloyd said the primary healthcare centre which is being built to the standard of a cottage hospital, is expected to be one of the best primary healthcare centres in the South-South region of Nigeria.
He charged the contractor handling the project to ensure that the healthcare centre is completed before the second week of February, to enable the local government council inaugurate the project and hand same over to the state primary healthcare management board.
Meanwhile, Dr. Lloyd has approved the completion of the long abandoned office complex building project in the local government council secretariat.
The council chairman said the completion of the abandoned office complex project is part of his administration’s plan to modernize the local government council secretariat to stand out amongst other council secretariats not just in Rivers State but across Nigeria.
He said the office complex when completed will provide comfortable office spaces for staff of the council and federal agencies such as the department of state services (DSS) and the Nigeria security and civil defence corps (NSCDC).
