Emohua local government chairman, Dr. Chidi Lloyd on Thursday embarked on an unscheduled visit to some of the projects being executed by his administration; to ascertain the progress of work at the different project sites within the council secretariat.
At the primary healthcare centre which is almost completed, Dr. Lloyd charged the contractor handling the project to intensify efforts to conclude the interlocking work and handover the project to the council for inauguration.
The council chairman also inspected ongoing deck casting at the ultramodern Emohua local government council secretariat building, as well as the casting of beam reinforcements at the ongoing construction of 500 seater pavilion in the council secretariat.
Other projects inspected include the construction of council chapel and marriage registry, the staff canteen already nearing completion, the Chief Emeka Woke ICT centre, the legislative council complex and the completion of the long abandoned office complex in the council secretariat.
