The chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd on Tuesday honoured the traditional marriage ceremony between Mr Victor Sergeant Awuse and former Miss Sotonye Anabel Obeneme, held in Rumuoro-Ogbakiri, Emohua LGA.
The council chairman who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Adanma Divine Chidi Lloyd encouraged the new couple to love, cherish and tolerate each other even in difficult situations, while wishing them a blissful life together.
The ceremony which marked the completion of the traditional marriage rites of former Miss Sotonye Anabel Obeneme; now Mrs Sotonye Anabel Victor Awuse in line with Ikwerre customs and traditions, also attracted the presence of top government functionaries, political leaders, friends and associates of the Awuse’s from far and near.
The groom, Mr Victor Sergeant Awuse is the son of elder statesman, Ohna Sergeant Chidi Awuse, popularly known as the political bulldozer of Rivers State.
