The chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd has congratulated HRM Ohna Sergeant Chidi Awuse, on his recognition as the paramount ruler and Nne Nwe-Eli Emohua XIII; an occupant of 1st class traditional stool in Emohua local government area, by Rivers State government.
The council chairman who accompanied the new Emohua traditional ruler to Rivers State government house were he was presented with a certificate of recognition and staff of office by the governor of Rivers State, H.E Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Friday, described Ohna Sergeant Awuse as a blessing not just to Emohua communities alone but to Emohua local government area in general, who has in different ways demonstrated his love for the peace and development of the area.
He prayed God to grant the new paramount ruler the wisdom and knowledge to discharge his functions effectively, while wishing him a successful reign.
Dr. Lloyd also thanked the Governor of Rivers State, H.E Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for ensuring that there was no vacuum in the 1st class traditional stool by swiftly recognizing a new occupant of the Emohua stool after the conclusion of the burial rites of the immediate past paramount ruler of Emohua.
The council chairman further enjoined the people of Emohua to rally support for their new paramount ruler, with a view to promoting peace and fostering development in the area.
