Emohua local government chairman, Dr Chidi Lloyd on Monday joined other leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State at the commissioning of the Rivers PDP campaign secretariat along Woji road, GRA II, Port Harcourt.
Rivers State Governor, H.E Nyesom Ezenwo Wike who performed the commissioning also inaugurated the state campaign council ahead of the 2023 general election.
The state PDP campaign council chaired by Governor Nyesom Wike, has the immediate past PDP Chairman, Bro Felix Obuah as Director General (DG), with Chief Ferdinand Alabraba as alternate chairman.
While the state chairman of PDP, Amb. Desmond Akawor is to serve as the vice chairman of the campaign council, and members of the state executive committee of the party serve as automatic members.
The executive assistant on research and documentation to the governor of Rivers State, Dr A.J Ayebaesin Beredugo is to serve as secretary of the campaign council, with the 23 LGA chairmen, serving National and State Assembly members, and all candidates of PDP in Rivers State as automatic members.
