Emohua Local Government Chairman, Dr. Chidi Lloyd, attended the membership revalidation exercise organized by the Grassroots Development Initiative (GDI) on Friday to reactivate the group across the 8 LGAs of the Rivers-East senatorial district.
The exercise held at the Ikwerre Local Government Council field in Isiokpo featured the presentation of membership revalidation forms to the LGA coordinators of the Pro-Wike political pressure group across the Rivers-East senatorial district.
Participants in the exercise include patrons, national officers, LGAs, and ward executives of GDI across the 8 LGAs of the senatorial district.
The coordinator of the group in Emohua LGA, Hon. Ikpechi Oriji, led the LGA and ward executives to the exercise.
Former Chief of Staff of the Rivers State Government House and commissioner designate, Chief Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke, who is also a patron of the group in Emohua LGA, was among the other notable political leaders from the LGA who attended the ceremony.
