–As Emolga Council Boss Dedicates Achievements To God
The general overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere has declared that the chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd was divinely prepared for the transformation of the local government area, even before the local government election that saw his emergence in 2021.
He said the emergence of Dr Lloyd as the chairman of Emohua local government area was supernaturally designed to bring the will of God to pass in the local government area, declaring that God is currently using the council chairman to answer the age long supplications of the people of the area.
Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere made the declaration at the one day prayer, thanksgiving and dedication service organised by Emohua local government council at the council secretariat on Wednesday, where the apostle of God ministered as a guest preacher.
Attributing the achievements of Dr Chidi Lloyd within few months in office to his administration’s relationship with the Almighty God, the founder of OPM declared that Emohua local government council has been spiritually activated for greater transformation, declaring the mercy of God over the bloodshed and other atrocities committed in the area in time past.
Performing the consecration of Emohua local government council secretariat, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere invoked the wrath of God upon the enemies of the development of Emohua local government area and anointed the council chairman for greater exploits.
He further called on the chiefs, politicians and youths of the area to give peace a chance, for the will of God to manifest in the local government area, stressing that no meaningful development can take place in an environment devoid of peace and tranquility.
Earlier in his welcome remark, the chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd said the special service was organised in recognition of the glory of God upon his administration and to dedicate the local government area to the hands of God, stressing that his administration draws strength from the word of God.
Dr Lloyd said the recently concluded staff verification exercise in the local government council was part of his administration’s deliberate effort to reposition the local government area, reiterating that the days when non staff of the council received salaries from the comfort of their homes were over, reassuring that his administration will stop at nothing to ensure that all conduits used to siphon the common wealth of the people were blocked and the recoveries made from the verification exercise judiciously used for the transformation of the local government area.
The council chairman thanked Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere and other ministers of God for honouring his invitation upon the short notice and urged them to always remember Emohua local government council in their prayers.
Declaring the special service an annual event, Dr Lloyd directed his special assistant on religious matters to ensure that every 12th January is set aside for Prayer, Thanksgiving and Dedication in Emohua local government area, for the renewal of the covenant between the council and Almighty God.
The chairman of Emohua PDP caucus committee, Eze Paul Wonodi in his brief remark urged officers and staff of Emohua local government area to join hands with the council chairman to reposition the local government area, stressing that the success of every council chairman depends on the relationship between the chairman and his team of elected and appointed officers, as well as the general staff of the council.
The prayer, thanksgiving and dedication service also had in attendance former Rivers State commissioner for commerce and industry, Prince Charles Beke, Former chairman of Emohua LGA, Barr. Emma Wonodi, former CMD University of PortHarcourt Teaching Hospital, Prof Aaron Ojule, Vice chairman of Emohua LGA, Hon Mrs Edna Nyeche, Leader of Emohua legislative council, Hon Mrs Love Nyenke and members of the legislative council, Secretary to the local government council, Chief Vincent Chukwu and other members of the executive council, Principal officers of the council, Traditional rulers, religious leaders, women and youth groups.
The council chairman was later joined by leaders of the local government area to inspect some ongoing projects within the council secretariat.
