Ahead of the planned inauguration of the 19 kilometer Rumuodogo road in Odegu, Emohua LGA of Rivers State conceived and completed by the Rivers State government under the leadership of Gov Nyesom Wike, the chairman of Emohua LGA, Dr. Chidi Lloyd on Saturday joined the state commissioner for Special Projects, Hon Deinma Iyala to inspect the progress of work at the project site.
The council chairman was on arrival greeted with a large crowd of natives of the area who couldn’t hide their gratitude to Gov Nyesom Wike for keeping to his promise to the community.
Recall that the Rivers State government through the ministry of information and communication had over the week hinted that the state was going to witness 17 days of non-stop project commissioning and flag off before the end of 2022. Rumuodogo road is one of the projects earmarked for commissioning within the stipulated period.
The 19 kilometer Rumuodogo road with reinforced concrete culverts at strategic locations is one of the longest road projects executed in Emohua LGA by the State government.
Dr. Chidi Lloyd was accompanied by the chairman of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Emohua LGA, Hon Uche Minikwu.
