The chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd, was presented on Thursday with an award of excellence in peace and security by the organizers of the Peace Legend Award as one of the 50 legends of Rivers State.
The award was presented to the council chairman in his office following his absence at the 12th edition of the Peace Legend Award ceremony recently held in Portharcourt.
The Peace Legend Award is a platform that recognizes public office holders and individuals with immense contributions to peace and security in society.
Meanwhile, Dr. Chidi Lloyd has endorsed an upcoming comedy show in Port Harcourt tagged The Book of Daniel (The Tale of the Most Successful), organized by one of Nigeria’s finest comedians, Danny Spry.
Dr. Lloyd made the endorsement during a visit by Danny Spry and his team at the chairman’s office on Thursday.
The council chairman, who is a big fan of the Port Harcourt-based, talented comedian, also promised to support the event to promote the entertainment industry in Rivers State and encourage the host to compete favourably with other notable comedians across Nigeria.
