The chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd has approved an educational intervention fund for final-year students of Rivers State University (RSU) who are natives of Emohua LGA.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the council chairman, Bright Jossy-Elendu says the intervention programme will take care of the school fees of genuine final-year students of the Rivers State University with verifiable indigeneship across Emohua LGA.
The statement further disclosed that representatives of Emohua local government will be interfacing with the management of Rivers State University to establish the number of genuine final-year students in the state-owned institution who are natives of Emohua LGA, for proper implementation of the intervention programme.
