–As Dr Chidi Lloyd Plays Host To Gov Wike’s Foremost Political Machinery
One of the foremost political machineries of the governor of Rivers State, Apara Committee Of Friends (ACF) has passed a vote of confidence on their leader, Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for his visionary leadership and sterling performance in Rivers State.
The group said the governor has what it takes to rescue and rebuild Nigeria, following his antecedents in public service and national politics.
ACF made this known during a new year meeting of the group hosted by the chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd at his country home in Akpabu, Emohua LGA, Rivers State on Saturday.
President General of ACF, Chief Anugbum Onuoha while addressing the meeting expressed satisfaction with the achievements of Gov Nyesom Wike both in governance and national politics, describing the grand patron of ACF as a visionary leader who is naturally endowed with wisdom and knowledge in public service and grassroot politics.
Recalling the contributions of ACF to the success of the PDP at all elections in Rivers State, Chief Anugbum Onuoha said the group have decided to also champion the call for Gov Nyesom Wike to make himself available to contest the presidency of Nigeria in 2023, with a view to rescuing and rebuilding the country.
The ACF president general and former SA on lands and survey to Gov Wike commended Dr Chidi Lloyd for reuniting with his political family, stressing that the game of politics can best be played amongst mutual friends of the same political ideology.
Expressing satisfaction with the achievements of Dr Chidi Lloyd in Emohua local government area within few months in office, Dr Anugbum Onuoha said the ACF was very proud of Emohua council chairman, whom he said has gradually redefined local government administration with unprecedented infrastructural development.
He urged the council chairman to keep up his good works in Emohua local government area to have his name written in the sands of time as the best chairman the local government has ever had.
In his brief remark, the host, Dr Chidi Lloyd expressed gratitude to the leadership and members of Apara committee of friends for their undying support to Gov Nyesom Wike, promising to always support the growth of the group.
The Emolga council Boss who referred to ACF as one of the foremost political machineries of Gov Wike encouraged members of the group to remain patient and diligent in their support, stating that the governor has a lot of confidence in group because of their unwavering loyalty which has been proven over the years.
Dr Lloyd said he was happy to reunite with members of the ACF, some of whom are his personal friends who related with him while he was away.
He particularly appreciated Chief Prince Weli-Wosu, for keeping in touch with him even before his return to the PDP.
The ACF meeting which coincided with the 50th birthday anniversary of Dr Chidi Lloyd featured praises and prayers to God for a triumphant entry into 2022.
The meeting which also had the presence of the paramount ruler of Akpabu/Itu , HRH Eze Godwin Chukwuemeka Ordu, ended with prayers for the chairman of Emohua local government area and his family.
