CHIDI LLOYD CONGRATULATES HON JUSTINA EMEJI, AS EMOHUA PDP HOLDS RECEPTION IN HONOUR OF THEIR NEW STATE CONSTITUENCY REP

— Attends Reception In Honour Of Rivers 10th Assembly Speaker

The chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd has congratulated the newly inaugurated member representing Emohua Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Justina Emeji on her successful inauguration into the Rivers State House of Assembly following the proclamation of the 10th Assembly by the Governor of Rivers State, H.E Sir Siminalayi Fubara on Monday.

Dr Lloyd who joined other leaders and stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Emohua Local Government Area at the reception organised in honour of Hon Justina Emeji aftermath of the State Assembly proclamation, called for love and unity amongst the people of the area in their continued support for the new representative of Emohua constituency in the State Assembly.

He noted the bond of peace and unity that exist amongst the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the area, which he said was instrumental to the landslide victory recorded across the wards in Emohua LGA in the 2023 general election, stressing that consolidating on such unity and love would go a long way in improving the political fortunes of the people of the area.

In his brief remark, the chairman of the PDP caucus in Emohua LGA, Eze Paul Wokhe Wonodi enjoined the people of the area to rally support for Hon Justina Emeji whom he described as a loyal and patient party stalwart, stating that the newly inaugurated Emohua representative in the State Assembly had served the PDP in different capacities at the State and LGA levels before she was rewarded with the State Assembly ticket.

The erstwhile Chairman of Emohua LGA, encouraged female members and supporters of the PDP in Emohua LGA to emulate the patience and loyalty exhibited by Hon Justina Emeji, stressing that every loyal servant in the party must surely have their own day of recognition as the opportunity presents itself.

The immediate past member representing Emohua constituency in the State Assembly, Hon Samuel Ogeh while congratulating Hon Justina Emeji on her successful inauguration into the 10th Assembly, also thanked the people of Emohua constituency for the privilege extended to him to serve his people in the Assembly.

Sam Ogeh who represented the people of Emohua constituency in the State Assembly for two consecutive terms while thanking the leadership and stakeholders of the PDP for their support during his tenure in the State Assembly also enjoined the people to extend the same support to his successor, Justina Emeji to enable her offer effective representation to the constituency.

The elated Justina Emeji who was overwhelmed with joy and happiness thanked the leadership and stakeholders of the PDP in Emohua LGA for the massive support she enjoyed before and during the elections while calling for continued support and prayers from the people to enable her to succeed.

According to her; ” I thank you for your support before and during the elections; in my own election we won at all the 14 political wards in Emohua LGA and it has never happened before. This shows. that you people love me and I promise not to disappoint you.

” Our Chairman, Chidi Lloyd was in the Assembly and he didn’t disappoint us. My younger brother, Sam Ogeh who just finished in the Assembly didn’t also disappoint us, So, I promise not to also disappoint you.”

Meanwhile, Dr Chidi Lloyd has congratulated the newly elected speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Martin Amaewhule on the successful proclamation of the 10th State Assembly and his emergence as the speaker of the honourable house.

Dr Lloyd on Monday joined friends and well-wishers of Rt Hon. Martin Amaewhule at a reception held in his honour at the White Jade event centre along G.U Ake/ Eliozu road in PortHarcourt where the council chairman extended his warmth regards to the new speaker of the 10th Rivers State House of Assembly.
