— Appreciates Rivers State Government For The Recognition Of Four Traditional Rulers In Emohua LGA
The chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd has congratulated the paramount ruler of Emohua Kingdom in Emohua LGA, HRM Sir Ohna Sergeant Awuse on his recent appointment by Rivers State Government as the new chairman of the State Traditional Rulers Council as announced by Gov Nyesom Wike during the State Honours and Awards held in Government House on Saturday.
Dr Lloyd, on behalf of the Government and the good people of Emohua local government, heartily appreciate Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for the well-deserved appointment.
The council chairman in a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Bright Jossy-Elendu expressed optimism that the State Traditional Rulers Council under the leadership of Ohna Sergeant Awuse will consolidate on the achievements of the administration of King Dandison Jaja (Amayanabo of Opobo Kingdom) to further strengthen the traditional institution in Rivers State.
Dr Lloyd assured Ohna Sergeant Awuse of the support of the government and the people of Emohua local government area while wishing him a successful tenure.
The statement also appreciated the government of Rivers State for recognising four traditional rulers in Emohua local government area.
The newly recognized traditional rulers who are all in the second class category are:
1. His Royal Highness, Eze (Dr) Wobodo Sunday Jonah – Nye Nwe-Ali Ibaa/Obelle
2. His Royal Highness, Ohna Christian Okachineke Elechi – Nye Nwe-Eli Odegu
3. His Royal Highness, Eze Damian Azike Ejiohuo – Nye Nwe-Ali Rundele XII, Nogbo II
4. His Royal Highness, Eze Christian Amadi Evekwuru – Eze Chigu Rumuekpe.
Dr Chidi Lloyd says his administration looks forward to partnering with the traditional institution to foster peace and improve security across the communities in Emohua local government area.
