The chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd on Thursday met with the Electoral Officer (E.O) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Emohua LGA, Ms Obamogie Tina Ebehimare at the INEC office in the local government headquarters.
The familiarization meeting held at the instance of the Electoral Officer who was recently deployed to the Emohua local government area also had in attendance senior officers of the electoral commission, heads of security agencies and relevant government agencies in the LGA in preparation for the commencement of a 3-Day training for INEC ad-hoc staff ahead the 2023 general election.
The chief press secretary to Emohua local government chairman, Bright Jossy-Elendu in a statement noted that the meeting was held in line with the council chairman’s commitment to ensuring a successful electoral process across the local government area in the February 25 and March 11 general elections.
