COMMUNITY ROAD PROJECTS
1. 1 Kilometer Evekwu road with 2 Kilometer drainage in Evekwu- Odegu, Conceived, completed and commissioned.
2. 1.5 Kilometer Uke-Eli road with 3 drainages in Rundele, conceived, completed and commissioned.
3. 1 Kilometer Chief Nyesom Wike Drive with 2 Kilometer drainage in Akpabu community, conceived, and
completed, yet to be commissioned.
4. 1 Kilometer Ubimini road with 2 Kilometer drainage in Ubimini community, conceived and executed simultaneously; currently undergoing preparation for asphalt laying.
5. 1 Kilometer Elder Chinedu Tasie road with 2 Kilometer drainage ( former Omkpova-Mgbere road) in Ibaa community; making appreciable progress.
HEALTHCARE
1. Construction of Emohua local government primary healthcare centre (sick bay), conceived, completed and commissioned.
2. Doctor’s residential quarter, offices for healthcare workers and cold chain facility for storage of vaccines and other temperature-sensitive clinical instruments, conceived and completed, yet to be commissioned .
3. Elele-Alimini ultramodern healthcare centre inherited from the immediate past administration of High Chief Tom Aliezi, nearing completion.
SECURITY
1. Construction of Emohua divisional police station building opposite the Emohua campus of Rivers State University along Emohua-Kalabari road, conceived and executed simultaneously; already nearing completion.
2. Construction of Egbeda divisional police station, conceived and executed simultaneously; making appreciable progress
3. Fencing and security tower building at Rumuji divisional police station, completed.
4. Refurbishment of three armored personnel carriers(APC) for the police.
5. Provision of 3 Hilux vehicles, and 3 Sienna vehicles for security agencies.
6. Establishment of Emohua LGA Vigilante Services (EMOVIS) funded and regulated by the local government.
7. Construction of an administrative secretariat building for the local government vigilante services with operational vehicles and security equipment.
JUDICIARY
1. Approval for the creation of Emohua division of Rivers State High Court and ongoing construction of the high court complex… Work is ongoing in earnest at the project site.
2. Renovation of the proposed temporary site for Elele-Alimini Magistrate Court, completed.
ELECTRICITY
1. Distribution of electricity transformers to communities.
2. Emohua council electricity project, with a new transformer and independent power plant to serve the entire council headquarters and its environs.
3. Counterpart funding for the restoration of the vandalized electricity line from the Ahoada transmission station was paid in full.
WATER
1. 20,000-gallon Emohua council water scheme, reticulating portable water across the local government headquarters, conceived, completed and commissioned.
2. Akpabu water scheme, conceived and completed, yet to be commissioned.
EDUCATION
1. Construction of 350 seater Emohua Council ICT Studio named after Chief Emeka Woke, conceived and almost completed.
2. Award of master’s degree scholarship to Emohua local government brand ambassador, Miss Mary Ngozi Kekwaru.
3. Clearing of school fees for final year students of Emohua origin at Rivers State University.
4. Sponsorship of indigenes of Emohua LGA to Nigeria Defense Academy (NDA), air force, police and civil defence training and recruitments.
MONETARY EMPOWERMENT
1. Payment of monthly stipends to support low-income earners and small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) for a period of one year, with beneficiaries drawn from the communities across Emohua LGA; including party executives at LGA and ward levels.
This scheme was suspended to enable the council to complete critical infrastructure projects.
STAFF WELFARE
1. Construction of ultramodern Emohua council canteen (cafeteria), conceived, completed and commissioned.
2. Construction of modern staff and visitors convenience, conceived, completed and commissioned.
3. Construction of Emohua council chapel and marriage registry, conceived, completed and commissioned.
This facility currently serves as the temporary plenary hall for the councillors, following the reconstruction and remodelling of the legislative assembly complex.
4. Re-construction and re-modelling of Emohua legislative assembly complex, conceived and executed simultaneously; making appreciable progress.
5. Construction of 500-capacity Emohua council pavilion (mini stadium) named after Mary Ngozi Kekwaru, conceived and executed simultaneously; already nearing completion.
6. Remodeling and completion of the local government secretariat building initiated by the administration of Hon Allen Nma and abandoned by successive administrations, making appreciable progress.
7. Construction of ultramodern Emohua Council administrative building (brand new), conceived and executed simultaneously, nearing completion.
8. Construction of the first-ever ATM gallery in Emohua LGA since its creation in 1991, conceived, completed and commissioned( already dispensing naira note).
9. Construction of the first-ever Commercial Bank Building in Emohua LGA since its creation in 1991, conceived and executed simultaneously; making appreciable progress.
SPORTS
1. Sponsorship of the annual Emohua LGA Peace and Unity football tournament.
EMPLOYMENT
1. Engagement of skilled and unskilled youths of Emohua LGA by the local government works department at the different project sites across the LGA.
2. Recommendation of indigenes of Emohua LGA at the ongoing civil service employment exercise by Rivers State Government.
3. Recommendation for the engagement of indigenes of Emohua at the different Rivers State government project sites in Emohua LGA.
4. Recruitment of profiled youths of Emohua LGA into the local government vigilante services funded by the local government.
