Pursuant to the subsisting statewide ban on the activities of community development committees (CDC) and youth bodies by the Rivers State Government, the chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd , DSSRS has approved the extension of the tenure of the caretaker community development committee (CDC) in Rumuewhor community in Odegu, for another three (3) months.
The caretaker Rumuewhor community development committee under the leadership of Comr. Ovamale Ovundah Ovamale is by this tenure extension directed to work in synergy with other organs of the community and revelant stakeholders in the area, including security agencies, to sustain the prevalent peace and security, promote the unity and progress of Rumuewhor – Odegu, as well as the local government area at large.
The tenure extension is with immediate effect
