It is by the grace of God and the leadership of the PDP that Dr. Chidi Lloyd is the chairman of Emohua LGA at this very moment and we’re proud to have him change the narrative about our beloved LGA, taking Emohua LGA to an enviable height in just two years.
He has repeatedly said; “We owe the people of Emohua LGA, dividends of good governance, that’s exactly what it is.” That remains the focus and no distraction can stop him.
Hate or Love him, he had already set a new standard in local government administration in Nigeria and the majority of Emolgans are grateful to God and the leadership of the PDP for his timely emergence as chairman of the LGA in 2021.
The malicious campaign against a possible second term, which he never campaigned for, is not unexpected, it’s even coming late.
…The last time I checked, the decision on whether or not he will be given another opportunity for continuity, to consolidate his laudable achievements within this short period, is still within the grace and mercy of God and the leadership of the PDP at both State and LGA levels.
When decisions like this are taken, most of those ranting on social media won’t have your paymasters anywhere close to the decision-making table but are likely to abide by whatever decision that emanates from the respected table.
These and many more are the reasons why I’d continue to ignore attention seekers in their malicious commentaries and reactions against a chairman whose laudable achievements are already a reference point in local government administration in the comity of LGAs in Nigeria
As for the Internally Displaced Politicians (IDPs) in Emohua LGA who have decided to join the malicious campaign with their zero electoral value in the LGA, we can see how shameless and aimless you have all become in the politics of Emohua LGA and Rivers State at large.
The calculated attempt to distract a determined Chidi Lloyd is dead on arrival. Children of anger and perdition, and their sponsors actually miscalculated on the move because their social media rants are of no effect to a man whose determination to reposition Emohua LGA is already yielding fruit, to the benefit of all.
Emohua LGA is making unprecedented progress under the present administration because #LloydCamePrepared and that is what is important to a greater percentage of Emolgans at this particular point in time.
But I’d advise that, instead of sponsoring a campaign of calumny against another, why not be bold enough to sponsor your own campaign or your interest, ahead of the next LGA election?
My empathy actually goes to young people who are not learning anything from our politics, year after year.
