Emohua Local Government Chairman, Dr Chidi Lloyd on Monday joined dignitaries from all walks of life to participate in a one-day stakeholders summit organised by the National Population Commission (NPC) to sensitize critical stakeholders on the processes, procedures and the importance of establishing the actual population of Nigeria, in preparation for the proposed 2023 census (headcount).
The stakeholders’ summit held at the NBA hall, opposite Port Harcourt City Council secretariat also had in attendance top government functionaries, traditional rulers, representatives of security agencies, voluntary organizations and media houses.
The summit featured keynote speeches by resource persons from the National Population Commission and solidarity speeches from selected stakeholders.
